We stipulate with you that the towel is weightier used once your hands and feet are sweaty. Until that point it's weightier just to use your yoga mat since the towel is designed for perspiration. The only lanugo fall- these do slip when you are not sweaty- my tip: wet the marrow & top of your mat with water surpassing matriculation (where your hands and feet are in lanugo dog) this helps unconfined while practicing flow/in a non heated room! Yes, you are veritably correct: the towels need to be at least slightly moist in order for hands and feet to pinion to the fabric during downward dog. One option is to pre-moisten the towel surpassing class, as you've suggested.Flipsideis to start your yoga practice on your yoga mat without the towel and simply roll out the towel once your hands are sweaty unbearable to grip the fabric. Generally, once you finger yourself slipping on your yoga mat, it's time to roll out the towel. First of all, the days of weird, uncomfortable plastic material are over, second: no increasingly slipping or readjusting yoga poses! The towel-y surface feels really nice and minimizes any movement that you wouldn't want while keeping all four paws dry and nice (take that from one terrible sweaty betty - it's heaven!). Moreover, wherever I go, I go by velocipede - so I love the fact that the zero slip towel isn't unwieldy and foldable and will go with me, wherever I want to. It stays in place very well on top of my other mat, and wicks moisture just fine. Sadly, when in downward dog or warrior or with some stretches, my feet slip on top of the mat. I could try spraying water on top as someone else is this post had done, but I was really looking for a product that would indulge me to minimize fuzz while focusing on my yoga practice. Would've liked to have given this 5 stars as I love the finger of the mat, but seeing how I slip virtually on top while the mat stays put is rather annoying. If you are experiencing slipping of your hands and feet on the top of the fabric, this is considering your hands and feet are dry. The fabric will only offer grip when your hands and feet are wet from sweat during a hot yoga practice. At the whence of practice, when hands and feet are dry, some people spray their towels in order to pre-moisten them. In this way they do not have to wait for their hands and feet to get sweaty. If your hands and feet are dry, or you are not practising in a hot yoga room, you should not be using the towel as it serves no purpose in that situation. When your hands and feet are dry, you should practice directly on the top of your yoga mat without the aid of the towel.
